Madisyn’s Answer

Hi Skylar,

You don't need to promise to commit to a school in order to receive a scholarship from them. When you apply to a college and they accept you, they usually send you a financial aid offer. This offer may contain scholarships that the school has chosen to give you. This information assists you in determining if you truly want to attend that particular school.

Megan’s Answer

Hi Skylar,

Good questions! You do not have to commit to a college for them to offer you scholarships. Typically when you apply and are accepted to a college they will send you an acceptance with an idea of the scholarships you can get from them. When you complete your FAFSA for a college they will send you a financial award package that lets you know all the scholarships, grants, and remaining tuition you would need to pay to attend.

I hope that helps answer your questions!

Johnny’s Answer

Hello

When you apply, always check for available scholarships. As well always search the Internet for scholarships for your chosen education pass.

When you apply to universities and colleges based on your grades, community involvement, experience and such you may be offered scholarships.

To be offered a scholarship and to accept a scholarship would be two different processes.

Once you commit to a scholarship that you have applied for you would enroll at the institution or another offering a scholarship.

The option of applying for a private scholarship online could be applied to an institution you apply for.

One thing i will offer, i would if possible start at a community college.

The reason, many attended high priced universities only to learn they maybe chose the wrong field of study.

A very expensive learning at a university,

Best of success in your next life chapter
