I think the most important thing in being successful in your career is being passionate about what you're doing. If you are having fun you will never work a day in your life. Take every opportunity that comes towards you, and never doubt yourself! I hope this helps!

You don't say what job you are doing but in general you should be on time dress professional, be on time even early to give yourself time to get into the office. Ask questions /advice from your co worker's and supervisor. Write a list of what you enjoy and don't about the job. Be willing to help others /or stay late if needed .

Richard J (Rich)’s Answer

Be the best that you can be in your work by following the advice above by others. There is always a learning curve to get to know your job - that is expected - and then it is about being confident (without arrogance) on the job. Your goal is to be a valuable member of the team.

Of course you want to grow in your career, advance and earn better pay - but you have to be the best you can be at your level to help you get the credentials and recognition to move forward.

Finally - you are a member of a team no matter what job you are doing. There are very few jobs in this world that you are totally independent. So, be a good team member, respect others around you, and work toward the success of your organization and co-workers as well as to yourself.
