What is it like being a pilot I’m considering working for Alaska airlines but I’m really confused on what I actually want to do.?

I’m really into technology and aeronautics in general, but I also really like cosmetology, art and music. I really don’t know what I want to do, I have a lot of interests but I get bored of things easily.

Alaska is a fantastic company and they also have a pilot training program available to a lucky few who demonstrate their ability to pass their private pilot license. It’s very expensive but being a pilot is ultimately a very lucrative career. I am also interested in the arts and luckily, visiting different cities allows me the opportunity to visit museums restaurants and festivals all over. There’s also a lot of free time on days off and sometimes layovers to pursue other interests as well. The variety this career offers means you’ll never be bored.

It's great that you have an eclectic interest in future careers. Aviation can be very rewarding, but it does take a significant amount of commitment in the early stages to become licensed and experienced as a professional pilot. Suggestion...go to your nearest small local airport that has a Fixed Base Operator that rents small single engine aircraft and has a flight instructor on staff. Take what's called a "Discovery Flight". You may fall in love with flying or you may decide it's not for you. There's only 1 way to find out!
