Is there anything I can do to help grow my money at age 15 other than working community labor jobs such as yard work or babysitting?

I want to be able to work online with little hours and just make some side money for my savings. I've been doing research but I haven't found anything but scams. ?

Hi there,

I remember I was like you when I was a teenager.

Well, first learn to save. Save some money from your earnings. At the same time, learn a little bit about investing. Go to the library and get books about investing. There are some like INVESTING 101 that would help young people like you to understand investing in the stock market.

Once you have some considerable money, let's say US$ 1,000 or so and once you understand the principles of investing, you can start investing. It's a very interesting world. And if you are there for the long run, believe me you will learn to save, to invest, and to make money on the side.

Good luck!!

Hey there, Lane!

Here's what I found:

If you're 15 and looking to earn some cash online without spending too much time, there are several legit ways to do it and boost your savings. Here's a quick rundown of some options you might want to look into:

1. Freelancing: There's a bunch of online platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, and Freelancer that let you offer services like graphic design, writing, or managing social media. It's a neat way to earn money from home and you get to control your own schedule.

2. Online Surveys and Market Research: Some websites will actually pay you, even if you're a teenager, to take part in online surveys or market research studies. The pay isn't huge, but it's an easy way to make a little extra cash when you have some free time.

3. Tutoring or Teaching: If you're really good at a certain subject or skill, you can offer online tutoring services. Websites like Chegg Tutors or Tutor.com can connect you with students who need a little extra help.

4. Selling Handmade Items or Artwork: If you're crafty or artistic, you can sell your creations on sites like Etsy. It's a fun way to turn your hobbies into a source of income.

5. Affiliate Marketing: Some companies have affiliate programs that let you earn commissions by promoting their products or services with your own unique referral links. You can do this through social media, blogs, or other online platforms.

Just remember to be careful with these opportunities. Make sure they're legit and safe. Do your research before you get involved, and watch out for anything that sounds too good to be true.

Also, keep in mind that because you're 15, there might be some legal limits on the kind of work you can do and how many hours you can work. So, make sure you know the labor laws and regulations in your area before you start looking for online work opportunities.

I found this info from some top-notch sources:

- Forbes
- The Balance
- Investopedia

They provided great insights on legit ways for teens to make money online and grow their savings, while also making sure everything is safe and legal.

Hope this helps, and may you be blessed with abundance!
James.
