how can i know my career?

carer tips

Thank you comment icon I’d recommend doing something you really enjoy doing. You can always go for a safe or easy career that makes good money. But I would rather you be doing something g you love! Think about your hobbies and interests, then look at people who do that for a living. Reach out and ask for advice or study their path to getting there. Aaron Hart

Christa’s Answer

Hi Bailey,

When you're figuring out what career you want to pursue in the future, I think it's very important to identify your interests and passions. Once you've identified those, you can do more research into what career paths will leverage these passions you have. It's also important to know your what your good at and any weaknesses you may have. Also, don't feel pressured to choose a career path early on and stick with it for the rest of your professional journey. It's okay to change your mind and pivot careers if you find something that you'd enjoy doing more!

Shelia’s Answer

Hi Bailey,
Picking a career path is a big move, and it's crucial to find something that really lights your fire. Understand what motivates you and make sure your choice aligns with those motivations and isn't just a response to what others expect, unless it genuinely kindles your curiosity.

It isn't clear from your question whether you're still in high school, but achieving high grades in high school is crucial. High grades are a testament to the skills you're acquiring and demonstrate your capabilities. Regardless of the path you opt for, it's essential to maintain a positive mindset, invest effort in your learning, and actively interact with others.

And remember, it's perfectly fine if you need to tweak the path you first picked out. Life has a knack for throwing us curve-balls, and you might discover that a fresh direction fits you even better. Best of luck!

Marylou’s Answer

Hi

I have been a professional actor for my entire life. I had a great good opportunity to know the great philosopher Charles Brenner.

His bottom line was follow your bliss. Do what makes you happy and when you do what makes you happy you will never work a day in your life. Because doing what makes you happy brings you joy. And doing what makes you happy, the money will follow. don’t chase money. Follow your happiness.
