How do I know what career to pursue?
I know pretty much what I like and dislike- but struggle to find something that fit me. I love painting- yet I don't really want to be an artist for living.
I crave for academia life, and so everybody around me push me to be an architect. But I am not really sure if it's for me.
The thing is, I am not sure about anything- the one thing I know is that I want a big demending career that allows me to reach the best of my abilities. (like anyone I guess..)

I'd start with asking teachers/adults in your life what they think you are good at. From there, I would circle back to the list of things you enjoy doing and see if you can connect those dots. If you can find a job in one of those areas, you may find a better quality of life.
I'd also recommend attending a job/college fair or two. See what's out there.
Lastly. job a club or two at school. May you will find a talent for acting, cheese or even a sport. Explore, Explore, Explore.

In an ideal world you career should sync with you mental satisfaction and passion. But, this is not always the dream come true for many. I would say as world is getting more competitive, we can focus on training our brain for any change that this world throw at us. So, in short choose career that sync with you passion. But be ready in later life to choose another career if that doesn't work out.

I recommend that you explore. Do the research on all the avenues that art can lead you to, such as a career in museums, computer graphics, video games design, robotics design, automotive design, art Teacher, business interior design, product Engineering. Fashion or uniform designer, business Logo's design, librarian-history of the Arts. The arts can take you to so many places. Find out what you really like first, then research how the arts is connected to that passion or hobby. After the exploration is complete. Continue adding more knowledge to the skill. That's makes you one of the best in what you enjoy the most. Destined for success!

When you are first starting out and thinking about careers (or finishing high school or college), it can be very scary. What do I like to do? How long will it take to reach a decision? Will I make enough money to live and have savings? These are questions that you can ponder on, but know that the first thing you think about is what you really like to do and can you make a career of it. Think about what makes you happy and it doesn't feel like work; talk to a school counselor, as well as a revered teacher or relative or friend. Share your time with them and talk about your interests, some skills you already have that you would like to expand on...those are simple activities that can get you started on the path of your education and/or career. And know that when you make a decision, that decision does not have to be final. You may find something else during your journey that you want to do instead....and there is nothing wrong with trying many different things. Be kind to yourself, be honest with yourself and let your light shine.

That is a great question. Many people ask that question many times in their lives. The most important thing you can do is learn everything you can about whatever interests you. The more time you spend learning about something, the more opportunities you will find for where there might be a career in that area. You can start with a general interest in art and then immerse yourself in community activities, opportunities in business and other areas where that can be applied. For example, you fill find there is art in everything! The marketing of products requires application of artistic knowledge and concepts. The same with designing new products. Even business proposals require storytelling, which is a form of written art. I would also encourage you to find a mentor in a career you find interesting and have them give you advice on how you can apply your skills and interests to that career.

Hi. I’m a multi passionate creative artist and I can see how making a career choice could be very daunting. I studied commercial art and advertising in college. I also loved student government and philosophy. My interests and experiences have taken me down various career paths I never envisioned for myself.
I worked for a decade as a retail visual display merchandiser. During that time I got to work with models and help facilitate fashion shows. I decorated countless displays windows and created props. I dressed mannequins and merchandised all kinds of products.
I was a wedding coordinator after that. I used my love of art to get certified in cake decorating. I created real and silk floral arrangements, bridal bouquets and headpieces. I used my love of decorating to create beautiful immersive experiences.
I was then lead to a 23 year career in the holistic wellness industry. I used my advertising experience and love of event planning to educate about wellness. That lead me to get nationally certified as a mental health first aider for youth and adults.
Now I’m on a mission to share how art can help to inspire and heal. I had no idea when I graduated from college that I would be doing any of these things.
I believe that once you say YES to yourself the path will unfold. I would suggest doing more of what you love. Maybe go LIVE on social and share your passions. If you’re not comfortable in front of the camera consider blogging or post pictures of your creations.
In today’s world you get to take all of your gifts, talents and life experiences and combine them with your passions. If you so choose you can build a personal brand while you’re figuring things out. I believe when you put yourself out there divine opportunities will be drawn to you naturally.
I would suggest journaling and guided meditation and visualization to gain insight to what it is you feel like you’re being called to do. I believe we all have a calling on our lives and that you are made on purpose for a purpose!

Lots of great answers here. I agree focusing on something you're excited to learn about is really important. The only thing I'd add is don't be afraid to TRY things. Not every job will be a perfect fit and not every job has to fit into your final career path. Try different jobs, learn as much as you can, and you may discover something you love or turn yourself into an attractive candidate for a dream job down the road.

Sounds like you might want to consider exploring different options before settling on one, which is totally encouraged.
