After receiving a BS in biology, and going onto medical School. Is becoming a dermatologist the smartest idea?

I have came to the conclusion that I would like to major in biology. Biology is fascinating, as you learn about evolution and ecology. I have decided to become a dermatologist. I do not know much about dermatology but I am willing to learn. #dermatologist #dermatology #bio #biology

Dermatology is a fantastic field. If you shadow dermatologists and enjoy derm in your med school rotations, it is a great idea. You will need to be in the top of your med school class. Doing derm research also helps to match in derm.

Doing something that you love is always a smart idea! The next step would be to look into colleges that offer pre-med classes. These are the required college classes that you will need to take in order to apply to medical school. Many of the required classes to become a biology major are the same as those required for medical school applications.
