After receiving a BS in biology, and going onto medical School. Is becoming a dermatologist the smartest idea?

I have came to the conclusion that I would like to major in biology. Biology is fascinating, as you learn about evolution and ecology. I have decided to become a dermatologist. I do not know much about dermatology but I am willing to learn. #dermatologist #dermatology #bio #biology

Doing something that you love is always a smart idea! The next step would be to look into colleges that offer pre-med classes. These are the required college classes that you will need to take in order to apply to medical school. Many of the required classes to become a biology major are the same as those required for medical school applications. Dermatology is a fantastic field. If you shadow dermatologists and enjoy derm in your med school rotations, it is a great idea. You will need to be in the top of your med school class. Doing derm research also helps to match in derm.
