Darrell Gillmeister

Darrell Gillmeister is VP Engineering for Mobile where he is focused on delivering the best mobile platform and engaging applications that enable customers to access the power of the Salesforce platform as they run their businesses from their devices. Since joining, Darrell has delivered several best-in class enterprise mobile apps and SDKs including Chatter, Einstein Wave Analytics, Field Service Lightning, Events, the Salesforce mobile app and the Mobile SDK.

Darrell joined Salesforce in 2010 and brings over 20 years experience building and leading teams to deliver enterprise software spanning many different industries. Prior to Salesforce, Darrell spent 10 years in the financial industry delivering fixed income and equity trading software for top tier banks. Prior to that, Darrell worked in the Civil Engineering field delivering decision support systems to manage and optimize water distribution and hydro-electric power generation. Darrell has spent his entire career focused on building software and leading teams to deliver enterprise grade solutions to solve real-world problems that benefit the efficiencies of companies and businesses.

Darrell holds a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
