In layperson terms, what do you actually do at work?

One of my responsibilites at work is to manage a company website called Innovative Ideas. Innovative Ideas serves as a place where any employee may submit ideas to improve the business. Most ideas relate to process simplification/improvements, enhancing the customer experience, saving money, new product features, environmental sustainability, and strengthening teamwork. Innovative Ideas initially came about when I was asked by a business leader to come up with a way for employees to submit ideas and get feedback from subject matter experts. Of course, not every idea is possible to implement, but the ultimate goal of Innovative Ideas is to advance employee ideas which are feasible and potentially valuable all the way to implementation! Some great ideas have been implemented over the past few years, one of which saves over 1M square feet of single-use plastic waste material from being deposited in landfills.
