Jeanne Kavinski, M. S.

I am honored to be elected as a 2022 Society of American Foresters Fellow. I obtained my B.S. and M.S. in Forestry from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, New York. I have worked for the federal government, a non-profit, a park system, and volunteered as a Union County, New Jersey 4-H Master Tree Steward, and a Fanwood New Jersey Shade Tree Commissioner. I started my consulting business in urban forestry in 2005. I joined several professional organizations. Networking is amazing. I currently volunteer on the Maryland Urban and Community Forest Committee, with the Society of Municipal Arborists and with the National Capital Society of American Foresters.
