About

I have always had in interest in Veterinary Medicine since I was young. What led me to my journey were many different roads and unique opportunities!
I grew up in the arts, singing, dancing, and acting, and the hobbies have grown with me and taught me to express myself and be proud of the individual I am becoming. It has paved the way through school and marks my path to where I am today.
During my first part time job in retail, I received a call to work for the Forest Service in Ruidoso, New Mexico. My love for animals grew as I worked within the Biological Research Department, observing and tracking the reproduction status of the endangered Mexican Spotted Owl. There were many parts of the internship that continued to spark my interest in Veterinary Medicine and conservation that led my dream to work with wildlife and rehabilitation. I received my BS in Animal Sciences from California State University, Fresno, and continued to experience different aspects of the Vet med community.
Currently, I am finishing my last year of veterinary school at Louisiana State University where I am experiencing and rotating through so many great aspect of the veterinary community. Living in St. Kitts, where I began my veterinary journey at Ross University, I gained such wonderful experiences in different areas of animal medicine working with small, large, and exotic species. We are a resilient group of students and I am proud of how Ross University continues to mold courageous students.

The journey has just begun and the dream continues to be lived.
