This is my life. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made. After 2 rounds in prison and good amount of time just killing time, I found redemption, or at least a shot at it in a kitchen. I cut my teeth in a small diner in Virginia City, NV nearly 10 years ago. Within 4 years I was the Exec, Chef of the same diner. 2 years after that I took an opportunity with Chef Mark Estee to be the Exec. Chef of his new restaurant in Carson City, NV. I learned a ridiculous amount of knowledge from Chef Mark. After 3 years and having soaked up everything I could I moved on to my current spot at the Crystal Bay Casino as the Executive Sous Chef under Chef Jerad Ralls from New Orleans, Louisiana. And I'm still growing and learning! Never lose passion no matter what and always be 100.
