I want to build stuff with my own hands and not sit in a chair all day doing work because that is boring. I hope to get a collage degree to get a well paying job, Because then when I retire I will have money to relax

My parents own a grocery store, and when I was a young child, I would help by doing simple tasks such as putting away shopping baskets, aiding cashiers with bagging groceries, and bringing shopping carts inside the store. I also worked at the deli section when it first opened and took orders...

Are they pretty much the same? Will I be able to do both things if I pursue Interior Designing? Which is more profitable/fufilling?

I am wanting to start my own business, what college majors would be helpful for this?
