What are other ways to get experience in nursing for a H.S. student other than volunteering at a hospital?

I am a high school junior interested in the nursing career and I want the most interesting application when applying to colleges. #volunteer #nurse #nursing #hospital-and-healthcare #healthcare

Cheyenne, how about getting experience as a nursing assistant? Becoming a certified nursing assistant (CNA) definitely opened doors for me, and since it sounds like you're thinking about a nursing career, healthcare experience as a nursing assistant could be a great option for you. I took a formal course for 8 weeks and passed a state exam to become a CNA, but I hear that you can sometimes be trained on the job while working.

Good luck!

It's great that you are already focused on your career choice. Although volunteering at a hospital is one of the best ways for some experience

I would suggest that you talk to some Doctor's offices. Maybe a local clinic might be interested in some help.

With the current situation it may be hard right now.

Best of Luck
