Hello, Naledi confidence !
I understand that you are in South Africa and want to work online. All employment depends on your age if you are under 18, your skills and your employment history. Online jobs require experience and sometimes a college degree, but you didn't mention any of this. I am also not sure why you can only start a job at midnight.
M.S. Gumelar makes a good point when he advises that results may not come soon and nothing is guaranteed when selling or working online. You would have more reliability to obtain employment at an in-person on site company where you'd be assured to get a paycheck every pay period.
Once you are qualified, have the experience and skills and if you are 18 or older, you can consider some jobs on site in South Africa that possibly start at 12:00 Midnight, also referred to as Third Shift. If you qualify, some of these jobs are Technical Support Agent (which is sometimes done online), Concierge, Computer Support Technician (can be done remotely), Customer Service for Investment Holdings (can be remote), Hotel Work on site, or working in a hospital. Also keep in mind that "the job" doesn't meet your specifics, the worker must meet the jobs' specifics and that includes skills and hours needed.
If you want to make some quick and guaranteed money, you'll have to do yard or tag sales on the weekend as done in your country. Gather items that you can sell at the yard sale and if you can make crafts or art, sell those items, too. This is quick, guaranteed money in hand. Plus, tag sales are usually a lot of fun. Anything else is not reliable unless you get hired at a store or someplace that provides a paycheck to you.
To become familiar with how employment works, go to Indeed and read some of the job descriptions and requirements for jobs you're interested in. When asking about employment, always state your age, your skills and what type of work you can do.
Best wishes in all you do !

M.S.’s Answer
To get started, first identify a skill in which you excel. Then, create an account on platforms such as Fiverr, Upwork, Patreon, YouTube, or Instagram—or set up a seller account on an appropriate marketplace. Begin promoting your skill by uploading content and offering products or services that are legally permitted to sell. Maintain consistency in sharing and engaging with your audience to build your reputation. Over time, with persistence, someone may take notice and purchase what you offer. However, success may not come immediately, and I cannot guarantee immediate results. Stay committed and never give up!

1. Online Tutoring or Homework Help
If you're good at a subject, you can help younger students online. Just make sure to get permission from your parents first. Some websites allow teens to tutor, but be sure to check the age requirements.
2. Freelance Skills
You can offer services like writing, graphic design, or video editing. Platforms like Fiverr and Upwork are great, though most require you to be 18 or older, so you might need a parent's help.
3. Sell Handmade or Used Items
Create crafts, art, or jewelry and sell them on Etsy with an adult's account or use local online marketplaces. You can also sell gently used clothes, books, or electronics on sites like eBay with adult supervision.
4. Take Online Surveys or Participate in Research
Some survey sites let teens, usually 13 and up with parental consent, earn money or gift cards. Check out Swagbucks and Survey Junkie, but make sure to review their age rules.
5. Content Creation
Start a YouTube channel, blog, or TikTok account to earn money through ads or sponsorships. Follow the platform's age rules and get your parents' guidance. It takes time and consistency to grow an audience.
6. Pet Sitting or Babysitting (Advertised Online)
Use neighborhood apps or social media with your parent's help to offer pet sitting, dog walking, or babysitting services.
7. Participate in Online Competitions
Join art, writing, or coding contests that offer cash prizes. It's a fun way to earn money while doing something you love.

Discover what you're good at and what you know well. You can share your skills by making videos on YouTube or Instagram about topics you love. It might not bring money right away, but as more people follow and watch your videos, YouTube and Instagram can start paying you.

Hi Naledi,
Start by figuring out what interests you and which skills you want to develop for your career. Then, put together a strong resume to apply for jobs you like. It's also helpful to have a good LinkedIn network and a coach to guide you.
Good luck, AJ

I would recommend to figure out skill sets and technology. You're really good with, and you can offer services online such as those gig economy, websites where you can upload your services and certifications to provider counseling or even help students write better papers.
