What are the chances of building a decent career in Marine Biology with just a bachelor's degree? Do I need to earn a master's to even find a quality job in that field?

I am a high school senior. I plan to major in marine biology and minor in studio art. I have heard that it can be difficult to enter the field of marine biology without a master's degree, but I would like to seek an expert's advice.

Education opens doors to many opportunities, and it doesn't always have to be academic. When you visit colleges, check out their placement programs and mentorship options. These are important parts of your education, and advisors and professionals in the field can help answer your questions.

To get started, explore different job titles in your chosen field. Use platforms like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed to learn more. LinkedIn can help you connect with people to discuss their career paths. Glassdoor and Indeed provide insights into salaries and company reviews. Remember, these are personal opinions, not always facts.

Collecting information is crucial. When choosing a college, pay close attention to job placement rates and internship programs.
