Hi dharla,
Breaks are the best thing that you can do for yourself. You should not just be focused on school all the time. You should do new things to help your brain in a different way. Take yourself on a date to some place that you have never been and let yourself learn something new. You will come back to schoolwork refreshed.
If you are worried about burning out, it might be time to assess what you want. It is also important to check in on what is important to you. If it is good grades, why is that important to you? When I was in school, I focused a lot on grades and I didn't get the best grades. I thought it would mean that I couldn't get into the career field that I wanted to. Grades are the full picture of a person. You can be a B or C student and still have incredible college or job opportunities.
Overall, just make sure that you are taking care of yourself - physically and mentally.

Hi Dharla,
I completely understand how you're feeling. Even though I'm not in school anymore, I still look forward to taking breaks at the end of the year to recharge. It's important to take time for yourself. Try going for a walk, taking a nap, or enjoying some spa therapy, even if you do it at home.
Also, remember why you started. Think about your goals, your future, and the person you are becoming. This can really give you a boost of motivation.
Take care,
Donna
Ask yourself "what is my why"
Do not push yourself, give yourself breaks to hydrate and stretch
Have a quick check in routine. A few times a day maybe we even once: ask yourself, how's my energy and adjust

I hyper focused on the life I wanted to build and my long-term goals. Having that “why” was very helpful. Life is long and school ends up being a small part of it, so put in a strong effort, but also take moments to exist and have fun. Just keep reminding yourself that this is a step towards your ideal life.

I will make this as easy as possible. When worrying about the burn out you will need to set short term goals. Set them for things that you know you can do but have to work for just a little. One example is to shoot for an A on a test that's coming in a week. Don't stop there though, you need to reward yourself like someone that goes to the gym everyday. Everyone deserves a "cheat day" after hitting a goal.
Short term and attainable goals will keep you in the right direction and will also help with the feeling of being overwhelmed. There's a saying that everyone knows, "work hard, play hard" that I have lived by for years. Decompress but don't lose sight of your long term goal either.
