Hey Hannah,
While I don't work in this field, I did do some research and wanted to share some thoughts:
1. Most of your classes would be determined by your major, and there will be specific classes you must take in order to graduate. Because I don't know which school you'll be attending, it's a little difficult to say exactly what classes you'll need to take.
2. From what I've seen, it is super important that you take your science classes seriously, as many people in forensics got there because they majored in a hard science (think: chem, bio, etc). If your program doesn't require science classes, it is still worth taking and might even be worth minoring in a science.
3. I came across the Reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/forensics/comments/1j4owqz/what_type_of_degree_would_i_need_to_become_a_csi/) where someone mentioned that their criminal justice degree did not set them up to land a job in forensics/csi. While I'm not saying this will happen to you, especially since it seems like there is a forensics element to your program, I highly recommend either doing some online research or talking to someone in the department to learn more about where people who graduate from the program actually land jobs. If many of them are becoming forensic techs, that's a great sign. If no one if landing forensics jobs thats a signal.
