Hi! I am majoring in Undecided Business next year for my freshman year of college at Fordham University (NYC)! I am a creative person who is very ambitious but I don't quite know what to do for my career. My favorite thing in the world is Student Council at my school, I am ASB President this year, but I'm unsure how to apply that skillset to something within my major that will allow me to live comfortably, especially since I will need to take out student loans for college. What area of Business best suits me and my future #Spring26?

The good news is that within a business school, there are usually several different tracks you can explore, and many of them can align with your strengths and interests as you discover them. Since you already have strong leadership experience, a business administration path could be a natural fit because it focuses on managing teams, making decisions, and guiding organizations, which connects well with what you’ve been doing in student government. At the same time, since you describe yourself as creative and ambitious, entrepreneurship is another path worth considering because it allows you to combine leadership, creativity, and problem solving to build something of your own. It can also give you hands on experience that translates directly into a wide range of future career opportunities.
You don’t need to have everything figured out right away, and your background already gives you a strong foundation to explore different directions within business. Wishing you all the best as you start this next chapter.

What is the creative aspect of yourself ? Why not couple your inner creativity with a good knowledge for a great business idea that you can implement once you get out of school ?
Money comes and money goes. Don't worry about loans. We all have had them. They get paid eventually.
Do your thing ! Ya just have to figure out where you see yourself in 10 year- 20 years - 30 etc. * It happens much faster than you realize.
I would suggest to use your most inner creative ideas to spur a good business.
Good luck.

You have great questions, but others cannot answer them. That is your challenge, which a lot of us have struggled with.
Here are my suggestions. Right now, get some good, solid education in business classes. Understand basic accounting, general business, and marketing. These three disciplines will help you to be ready to move into different directions as they arise. Read some good business books, EG: Steven Covey's book, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People". A little legal knowledge also can never hurt.
Your career might start by working for a big multinational corporation or a small, enterprising family. These first moves will also get you ready for when/if that "Aha moment" springs a great idea. It may very well come at the least expected time.
Let me summarize my career path. I have had about 10 different jobs (never wanted to run my own business). Each one was either moving up or moving into a different area of responsibility. My point is not to try to set some specific path or goal for yourself right now, Presley. As you eventually look back years from now, you will be amazed at where you have been and what you have done.
Good luck and just keep learning and being inquisitive.
