Great question, Louisa! Hope this helps :)

GCSEs to prioritise:
Art & Design, Design & Technology, Maths, and Physics are your foundation. Add Drama or Media Studies if storytelling is your angle. Do the ones you're genuinely good at. Imagineering covers 150+ disciplines, there's no single right path.

UK universities:
Birmingham City University is the most directly relevant. Their BA Entertainment Design covers theme parks, immersive experiences, and was developed with a former Walt Disney Imagineer. Beyond that, follow your specialism: Architecture (Bath, UCL), Industrial Design (RCA, Loughborough), or Animation/Concept Art (Bournemouth). Birmingham City University

Disney program for UK students:
The US College Program isn't open to UK students, but the Disney Cultural Exchange Program lets UK and Ireland undergraduates spend a summer at Walt Disney World in roles across attractions, food & beverage, and merchandise. It's not an Imagineering internship, but it gets you inside Disney. Watch yummyjobs.com for applications.

Advice:
The degree gets you in the door. But your portfolio, work experience, and personality matter just as much. Enter the Disney ImagiNations Design Competition, connect with the Themed Entertainment Association, and start building and sharing your ideas now. The people who land these roles are obsessed with it long before they graduate.
