How do I pass discrete math when I transfer from community college? #spring26
I got into Cal Poly SLO and I'm still waiting on UCSD!

What is your major? If it is not math, consider taking the CLEP test to earn the credit. You usually only need to score a 51% on the test to get credit. Be sure to study the test and see what is required and if the college will accept credits for CLEP. Most do, but be sure to check.

Discrete mathematics constitutes a core major requirement for computer science.
Based on your question, I am wondering about the preparatory math courses you should have taken at the community college. College Algebra is a prerequisite for a course in Discrete Mathematics. Hence, if you have not taken College Algebra, please do as soon as possible.
