What is the typical day to day of being a head chef?
I'm 19 years old and currently attending Culinary Vocational school at David L. Carrasco Job Corps in El Paso, Texas. And will be attending Advanced training in San Francisco in 2020. I now currently have had the equivalent of 5 years in California R.O.P. training. #culinary-arts #cooking #chef #cooking #business

There is no typical day for an Executive Chef, you have to still cook, mentor, coach, meetings, scheduling, paperwork, check on every one. It's a hard life, that requires sacrifice, hard work and dedication to the craft. But it is rewarding

Continue your education, get your degree. You also will need hands on experience. Your degree will get you to the door, but real life experience will get you through it. Both are extremely important. Without one or the other it will make it harder to excel.
