How can we use Chat GPT ethically?
I've only just started using Chat GPT in understanding concepts and ideas that I find difficult to comprehend. I see Chat GPT as a tool in researching information efficiently (maybe not academically) and customizing plans such as study plans, meal plans, workout routine. I think that people can easily misuse this tool in the workplace or academic environment. But how can we use Chat GPT ethically and use this tool to become more efficient in our education or workplace.

Thank you so much! I feel like we can use AI as research tool as you said, however, I feel like there is a stigma around it due to plagiarism and cheating in secondary education or university. I will definitely keep this in mind for the future!

Chat GPT is a proof to the progress and advancement that mankind has made, while we can take advantage of the intelligence of such technology, to use it ethically, we can start by avoiding its usage when you are tasked to write a school essay. It will be a dishonest act to utilise third party software completely and claim the work as a product of yours. Other than that, Chat GPT answers our doubts clearly and is a good source of reliable knowledge.

A lot of companies have started restricting use of chatGPT in company laptops etc. but I think chatgpt should be used to only spark initial idea or pave the path when roadblock exists. If we use them to do our work then in the future chatGPT can replace our work.

- Remember that it's a good tool to use, but should not be misused. It can be used to assist you, but not do your work for you
- Do not compromise academic integrity by asking it exam and assignment questions

One great way to use it is to have the program compare an already written paper and the grading rubric. This will show you if you are in line with the academic standards.
