Howard’s Answer

Being a businessman is not only a wonderful feeling but also an incredible journey of growth and achievement! In the beginning, make sure you're open to actively listening to others and learning from their invaluable experience. Remember, gaining insights from those who have been in the field for a while is crucial to your success.

As you learn the ropes and demonstrate your competence, the company will trust you with greater responsibilities. Keep in mind that performing well will eventually earn you not only increased power but also the respect and admiration of your colleagues and superiors.

Having been a businessman for 17 amazing years in a large company, I can attest to the incredible satisfaction that comes from gaining recognition through hard work, dedication, and trustworthiness. Kevin, I have no doubt that with your enthusiasm and drive, you will embark on a thriving career in the world of business. Best wishes to you as you conquer the exciting challenges that await you!

Micheal’s Answer

Hello Kevin, despite the fact I have a undergraduate degree in business and a master's degree in business, I actually put my acumen to work for someone else. My wife however is the owner of two businesses and I help her with finances and management. I can tell you however that is a lot of hard work and has been for several years. Maybe because of covid or some other reason but finding good employees is a difficult task. I think the days of being a hands-off business man have long past. Is it rewarding? Sure is it great to know you answer to no one but yourself. For the most part it is but when someone doesn't show and there's work to be none, it's on you and no one else. It is a big responsibility.
