what would be the best way to find a job?
What are the best ways to find a job that would be the one u stick to for the rest of your life? Also why would it be the best way?

Thank you for your question. Many student have similar question. The most important is to find out a career you have interest. Having said that, your interest may change in the future. In other words, you may change your career if your interest change. Many people have similar experience. It is not necessary to stay in only one single career in your life time.
Below are my suggestions :
1. Think about your hobbies, favorite subjects, etc. and identify the related careers
E.g. If you are interested in Maths, would you like to be an accountant, banker, financial analyst, engineer, maths teacher, etc.
If you are interested in Music, would you like to be a singer, musician, music teacher, music composer, music producer, etc.
2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, parents ,school career counsellor, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in the college

If this is the first time you are looking out for a job after college, you need to first determine which area of function you are passionate about. This can relate to the major you have accomplished in college or something different. Build a good CV and post it on job portals. You can also share on LinkedIn. There is no guarantee that the first job will be the job you stay for all your life.

You'll need to determine your likes and dislikes, as well as what motivates you. Think about something that keeps you awake at night, deep in thought. Write down your passions. Even though you may not have had many experiences, consider things like waking up early or preferring English and philosophy over math. Reflect on what has piqued your interest in your studies so far and explore the reasons behind it. Before you know it, you'll have it figured out. Once you've identified your passions, search for opportunities that align with them. Remember, no job is permanent, as people grow and change over time. What works in one stage of life may not work in the next, so keep exploring.
My daughter uses personality tests to discover her interests and how they relate to various career paths.

This is a great question and one that many people have at different stages of their lives. As a student, I am sure you ask yourself this question many times. What if I pick the wrong career or wrong major in college? My answer for you is to know there is no wrong answer or choices.
Initially try to choose classes in a variety of areas. Are you starting to see a theme of things that you really enjoy? Maybe it is Science or Technology or Accounting or Communications. Then start to create your path and take more classes in the areas you love. That will begin to guide you in the right direction.
Know, that if down the road, if you realize you aren’t happy, you can make the choice to change directions. Sometime people “re-create” themselves over and over and that’s ok too. Sometime’s careers aren’t straight paths. Some opportunities are stepping stones and open doors for other areas.
So, my advice is to not put too much pressure on yourself to know exactly what you want to do. I had no idea what I wanted to do when I was in High School and College. But I ended up finding an area I truly love too. I think you will too! Be open minded and explore!

Hope all is well! I would use LinkedIn for sure! It allows you the opportunity to learn about different companies and the roles available. I would also reach out to people with various jobs at different companies and ask about their day to day that way you can determine what you like and do not.
