How do I pursue a career path from Computer Science to Economics?
I have 5 year experience in casino gaming industry as a software developer.
I have interest in Probability and Statistics . Also , I want to study Economics in my MS . What is the career path for a person having experience in computer Science and pursuing Economics in MS ? Will I be able to get admission in College of USA for economics ?

it's an interesting combination.
I know a statistics / IT pairing my result in some good work in Big Data initiatives.

First of all thanks for posting your question .
You have every right to choose what you want for your future but the visa officer needs some justification from you for your career path change which you plan to undertake,so does the University you are applying for .
if you are interested in probability and statistics then the field of Data Science looks bright for you , and maybe you can take a few courses in Economics. Programs such as M.S. Economics & Computation or something similar to that will help you in getting admission and also visa .

I would get a degree in one and then minor in the other. It's a great combo.
BTW, computer's were originally developed to solve this exact type of problem.
