For me, one of the most important skills you'll need in business is resilience. As you embark on your journey, you'll encounter experiences that push you out of your comfort zone. Change, influencing leaders, coaching peers or management, and uncertainty are all guaranteed to come your way. It's how you handle these experiences that truly matters.

Resilience is all about adapting quickly to change, receiving and applying difficult feedback, managing failure, and navigating unfamiliar situations. It's not always easy, and it may require you to step out of your comfort zone. But remember, these experiences are crucial for your growth. Whether you're driving the change or it's happening in your environment, it's important to take control of what you can and keep pushing forward. Don't allow yourself to get stuck in a space that doesn't propel you forward.

So, embrace the challenges that come your way. They are opportunities for growth and development. With resilience as your ally, you'll be able to overcome any obstacle and achieve success in the business world. Keep pushing forward, and never give up!

Hello Nancy,

In the world of business, one principle stands above the rest: addressing and resolving challenges. Whether it's your business as a whole or you as an individual within the company, if you can effectively solve problems, you'll be miles ahead of your competitors.

Equally important is ensuring you're not the one slowing things down. It's always beneficial to keep the workflow smooth and unobstructed!

Lastly, never underestimate the power of asking the right questions. This is always high on my priority list.

I hope these insights inspire and guide you towards success!

Embarking on the journey of establishing your own business requires a hefty dose of determination. Remember, it's more than just a regular 9-to-5 job; it's a commitment to work tirelessly, day and night, to ensure a steady workflow. Some periods may be more challenging than others, but your innovative thinking and problem-solving skills will guide you to explore various strategies until you discover the one that guarantees a stable income. It's crucial to have a strong support network to rely on during tough times. They will be your source of encouragement and resilience when the going gets tough. Starting and running your own business isn't an impossible task; it's a venture that demands years of dedicated effort before you reach a comfortable standing. And even then, unexpected market changes can occur, so your steadfastness will be a key factor in your success.

Rob’s Answer

In my opinion it would need to start with something you absolutely love doing and that you are exceling at already. Starting a business and thriving takes time, resilience and dedication. There will be times when things aren't going your way, when there are issues/challenges and impacts to your business outside of your control (think COVID). It's in those times that doing something you love and being better at it than all/most other options in your business will get you through and thrive.

Ingrid’s Answer

For a business to flourish, it's essential to be adaptable. Get comfortable with the market's fluctuations and environmental shifts. Welcome upcoming changes and gear up for them. Businesses that have been resistant to change or have not adjusted to the evolving markets, consumer demands, and industry preferences often find it hard to stay pertinent or prosperous.
