APPLYING TO COLLEGES TAKES TIME
Applying to college is not a five-minute process. Each step of the application requires time, and each school may have slightly different requirements. Colleges typically require an essay, which will account for a significant amount of the time you’ll spend on your application. SJSU for example, requires two 300 to 500-word essays, which could take 10 to 20 hours to complete. You’ll also need to account for the time you’ll spend researching schools and gathering admissions information. Visiting college websites or talking to contacts can eat up far more time than you may expect. In the end, the application process for just one school can take up to 30 hours. Now, imagine doing that 15 times.

Hello! There is virtually no limit to how many colleges that you can apply to at once. The typical barrier for people in this case would be the cost, as many colleges and universities charge an application fee. However, some schools have certain days/times of the year that you can apply for free. I know that when I was in high school, there was a day in October when many of the schools in my state waived their application fees and we were able to apply to any of the participating schools that we wished. I would definitely reach out to your school advisor to see if this is something that they are familiar with. However, if time and money are not a barrier for you, you can apply to as many schools as you please. Hope this helps!

There is no limit to the number of schools you can apply to, the sky's the limit! However, you must be mindful that most colleges have application fees which can be a huge barrier to students when applying to schools because the can be rally expensive. When I was applying to colleges (50 Schools), I never paid any fee waivers by using the following resources:
1. Common App: Common App is a great tool to used when applying to schools. They provide students with a fee waiver request process based
on the student's financial situation. If you were to meet any of the eligibility criteria that they ask, you would be able to request a fee waiver for
any of the colleges that you are applying to through the Common App!
2.SAT/ ACT Fee Waivers: For some school if you received an SAT or ACT fee waiver, you may also be eligible for college application fee waivers.
Just check with the colleges you plan on applying to.

There's no limit at all to how many colleges you can apply to at once. However, each college may have a separate application process, fee and essays that they require. Given that you have a limited time, it may be best to select a few colleges that you are most interested in and focus your efforts there. Good luck!

Technically there isn't a limit. There are however application fees for many schools so for those schools there will be some fee required. There are also things like the "Common App" that helps you apply to multiple schools using a single application.

Be mindful of admission fees, as they can be a barrier and potentially limit the number of applications you can submit. Try to identify your top 10 choices, and then apply to those that are within your reach.
