What steps did you take to get into museum curation?

Hi, I'm fresh out of high school, and I love all kinds of art, art history, cultural and ethnic studies, and history. I love making art myself, as well, and learning about other groups of people. I am thinking I want to go into Museum Curation. Wondering what steps you took to get into this field, does it bring you joy, and what does a day in the life look like? Is it rewarding? Does it pay well? Thank you for your time!

What AP classes should I take to as a student athlete?

I am a rising 9th grader and my school is having us fill out our course requests forms I want to take more AP classes to get ahead so that I can receive my Capstone Diploma by the time I graduate and be able to dual enroll by Junior year, but I play softball after school so I think it will be hard for me to take more than one. Right now I know that I will take AP Psychology my freshman year I wanted to take AP World History so I don't know if that would be too much to handle because I want to pass with all A's and on top of that I am taking All Honors courses too. Would it be too much to take both classes? And What Are some other recommended AP classes for the rest of High School?

What APs should I take sophmore year?

I'm currently a freshman, and my electives are due pretty soon. I was wondering what APs would be most beneficial to take. Sadly, my school only offers 4 AP electives for sophomores. These are AP Computer Science Principles, AP Seminar, AP Human Geography, and AP Psychology. I am currently in AP World (Freshman here can only take 1 AP), and while I did struggle a bit in the beginning because it was my first AP, I feel pretty decent and have an 89 in the class (other than that, I have all A's). I don't know how many I should take, and which ones I should take, but I am pretty interested in psychology (I'm taking regular psych right now), and I don't like presenting, so I feel like AP Seminar can help me get out of my comfort zone. AP Human Geo was a freshman history class this year, and my friends in it said they struggled, so I don't know if it would be a good choice as an elective. If I had 2 slots for electives, which ones should I pick? And should I use both of those on an AP or choose one normal, easier elective?

What are some of the easier AP classes?

I'm currently a freshman in high school only taking AP World (my school only allows this or AP Human Geo for freshman), and it's not my best class but I managed to pass last semester with a B. For sophomore year, I'm on track to take APUSH which I know is one of the harder APs, and I was thinking about AP psych because I took psych this year and I find it really interesting. Are there any other AP classes that I'm able to take sophomore year that aren't as vigorous as AP World and APUSH? And is taking AP psych a bad idea for sophomore year?

What should we look for in a college as a History major?

Hi, I’m trying to help my son figure out his path to and through college. He is a history buff and his goal is to get a PhD Or doctorate in history. During our research we found a lot of Grad programs and I’m wondering if there are any specific programs or courses we should look into for undergrad to start the way. Any feedback would be appreciate! Thank you!!
