Zander’s Career Goals

From a young age, I have been fascinated by creating something from raw materials. The idea of shaping wood, stone, or metal into functional tools and weapons excites me. My ultimate goal is to become a blacksmith and own my own business, crafting unique, high-quality weapons and tools that blend function with artistry. To achieve this, I am focused on developing skills in metalworking, welding, and business management. Welding is a crucial skill in blacksmithing, allowing me to join metals, repair tools, and construct complex designs. I have taken Manufacturing 1, Manufacturing 2, and Woodwork 1, as well as an auto shop class, to build a strong foundation in craftsmanship. Beyond hands-on experience, I love reading and anime, which inspire me with intricate weapon designs. I also want to learn business management to build a brand known for quality and creativity. I am committed to mastering my craft and making my dream a reality, even though like I said that it’s a dying craft though some places are still keeping it alive. #Spring25
