How you Network will depend on if you're already at Fashion School or how strong of a fashion hub town you live in. Your closest city that has a fashion presence is Dallas, so you may want to connect with the Dallas fashion community. It's great that you are only 20 miles from Dallas !
If you are already at fashion school, you need look no further then your school. Fashion Schools have all the information you will need for networking opportunities and the campus itself is rich for networking. Instructors usually inform students of opportunities and events.
Texas Fashion Week is held once a year in San Antonio. There is also a casting event happening in Dallas very soon for which I have left a link for your below. You can show your line there or just attend to meet designers and professionals. It will be very important to attend Dallas Fashion Week, so look into that. There are also DFW Fashion Week and K.I.M.M'S in VOGUE Spring Fashion Show 2025. Also, SB Fashion Week Global Dallas Runway Show & Market.
Any opportunity you obtain to network is valuable and there is no "best" way. Go to all fashion events that you possibly can and meet a lot of people. This will all become easier for you if you enroll in Fashion School because that's the foundation for this career.
