I can't comment directly on concept art because I'm not a concept artist.

But when we've looked for concept artists in the past at the various studios I've worked for, Artstation is the common denominator.

So, if I were you (and I was several decades ago) I would go to www.artstation.com and go into the search bar and just search "concept art" and then fill in the blank after.

So for me one of my favorite game is "The Las of Us." So if I were you I'd search "concept art The Last of Us" and then just check out the work of people that are doing what you want to do.

That will give you a good idea of what you should shoot for.

Does it mean you have to be as good as these people to get a job? Well not necessarily... you could get a junior (entry level) job as a concept artist if you get lucky. But if you can get to those levels where your work looks as good as what you see on Artstation then you're ready to get your job!

Good luck!
