Starting a career in business marketing can be tough because you need to keep up with the latest trends and understand the market you're in. It's also important to know about outside factors that might affect your industry. There's a lot of information to take in, which can be overwhelming at first.
You also need to know what your company can really do and what its limits are. It's great to dream big, but not everything is possible right away. Setting goals that are realistic and achievable is important.
Using SMART goals can help you stay focused and on track. Marketing is always changing, so there's a lot to learn. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask—I hope this helps!

A marketing consultant plays a key role in supporting the sales team, helping them boost their sales and increase the company's profits. It's important to understand what the sales team needs to succeed.
1. How can we keep or improve the company's brand presence in the market? A strong brand reputation can lead to more sales opportunities.
2. What marketing activities can the sales team use to gain more business opportunities?
3. Analyzing market research data can reveal which industry to target, which city to focus on, and the age group most interested in the company's products. Sharing this information with the sales team can help them better expand the market.
4. Based on the market analysis, what promotional methods and media platforms will best reach this consumer group?
5. Also, look at what competing brands are doing. What are their strengths and weaknesses? What strategies can we use to outperform them?

Hi Diego
You have been given some excellent advice from mentors already. While challenges will always present themselves, I will add a couple of additional thoughts for success for you to consider. Throughout my marketing career, I have always kept these in mind and they served me well. I hope they will do the same for you.
First, always stay connected to the customer. In order to market effectively, you need to know the goals, challenges, and/barriers of your customer/client/consumer.
Second, marketing has a wide field of specialties. Stay open to adjancencies and other industries in which to apply your marketing knowledge.
Finally, take opportunities to learn about as many of your company's departments goals (executive, finance, operations, etc). While you are mostly focused on marketing externally, you must also have skills in marketing internally to sell investment in the idea.
My very best wishes for your success in marketing.
