Is being an Obstetric sonographer a good career to go in right away after high school?

I am a junior in high school interested in baby sonograms.

Good morning. And ultrasound technician is a great career and growing field. They do a lot through out the medical community. They do obstetrics although many of the obstetricians do their ultrasounds themselves. It depends on the policy of the hospital and the comfort of the physician in being able to preform it. It’s usually a two year degree with additional training and certifications that one can obtain. Good luck with your future endeavors!
