How long will it take to be a Real Estate Agent?
I want to be in the Real Estate and sell houses and become rich and successful.

How long to become a real estate agent depends upon how long it takes you to complete the 120 hours of coursework, pass the exam, and find a sponsor (see details below from Ohio Department of Commerce ). One site estimates at least 2-3 months. In addition, it might take you a while to save the $1631.50 – $1851.50 needed to apply (for the course, application fee, background check, and exam fee). You should also be aware of recent big changes in real estate commissions. The National Association of Realtors agreed to changes in sales commission to the selling and buying agent structure in order to make it less expensive for home buyers - see CNN article below for more information. If other aspects of real estate appeal to you, such as helping people find homes, you may want to continue pursuing this caareer. However, if your main interest is income (especially predictable income), you may want to widen your search.
