Nursing is and will be the most trusted healthcare profession. Nurses are the wheels that turn every medical institution.
And our healthcare system is struggling, but from lack of providers of all kinds.
Nursing is a very stable and quite lucrative profession, and it’s getting better. If you search RN wages over the last years, you will be quite interested to see how well salaries have increased. Now after the Covid pandemic, the realization was observed that nursing on every level, and I mean educational level: LPN, RNs ( of every educational level: ASN, BSN, MSN, DNP ) were at the forefront of that crisis. We are the largest healthcare professional workforce. We do not abandon our patients. It is my opinion, that now as nursing recognizes its own power as a group, realized the strength of our knowledge, experiences and trustworthiness that our compensation for this will follow suit, finally. I am a nurse with my masters in anesthesia and I am a healthcare business owner. I am seeing this and am quite excited. In the nursing profession, there are so many different types of nursing available. Many hospitals will also help with furthering nursing education so this is definitely a bonus. Nursing is a very stable profession, and could be as lucrative as your imagination allows.
