I want to be a PI (Principle Investigator), doing research in Biochemistry or a related field. I am not sure if I’d prefer to be a professor or to do research outside of a university.

I’m an undergraduate student studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at a four-year university. I am a member of the Class of 2028. I joined a research lab at the start of my freshman year, and plan on applying to PhD programs in Biochemistry or a related field directly from my undergrad.
