Lynn Henry-Roach was born in Haiti and emigrated to the United States at age 3 with her family. She was raised primarily in Maryland and the New York area. Lynn is a graduate of Rutgers University and she is a nationally certified healthcare interpreter. She has over 25 years of industry experience as an interpreter and translator, educator, and business leader. She is the owner of 4u Language Services, LLC, a full-service multilingual translation, and interpretation agency. There she provides career coaching and business consulting to future interpreters/translators and those seeking certification and/or to expand their business. Lynn also enjoys volunteer work having served on several boards including Dade County Mental Health, Parent Teacher Association (PTA), and Board of Governors for a 9 million dollar Urban Education grant for Cobb County School District. Lynn also enjoys mentoring high school and college students by speaking at Career Fairs, College Workshops and as an active mentor at her alma mater Rutgers University.

This book will be of special interest to bilingual speakers who want to jumpstart their career as a translator, foreign language interpreter, or American Sign Language interpreter. Lynn is most passionate about family life, humanitarian causes, and education for all. She enjoys membership in various professional and volunteer groups including the Georgia Haitian American Chamber of Commerce, American College of Teachers of Foreign Languages, MING, AAIT, NAAHP, PTA, and Rutgers Club of Atlanta. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her family.
