When did you get your first Big Break? How did you get it? How did it go?

I've been passionate about volunteering and giving back since I was in high school. I didn't know what I wanted to do when I grew up, so I chose to major in Journalism and Mass Communications and Event Management. Both options were fine, but I went with communications outside of college. During my first "big girl" job (as I like to call it), I joined a volunteering council through work. When I moved on to my current company, I joined and eventually led the volunteering group in my office. From there, I learned of an opportunity to join the actual corporate social responsibility team (we call ourselves the Social Impact department now), and have been in this role for nearly 2 years now. It was my first big break into CSR and I'm never going back!
