Hi Pablo!
I agree with Wei Yee, it's important to think about which area of social science you'd like to focus on. Just like life science, physical science, and engineering, social science has many facets that are widely different from each other. My social science is focused on program evaluation and behavior change. I took a great Graduate Certificate course through UC San Diego Extension called Sustainability and Behavior Change that allowed me to not only gain knowledge and network with professionals like me, but provided a platform for me to conduct research and gain real world experience. For program evaluation I worked in education departments at zoos that allowed me to evaluate our program effectiveness through a behavior change lens. I would recommend first, figure out which aspect of social science appeals to you, and then reaching out to professionals in those areas to see what opportunities are available. Best of luck! It's great to have more of us out there :)
