What, internships or volunteering should I do, I’m a 16 year old and I’m looking for any internships for psychology or any organizations I can volunteer for online.
I’ve been doing a few things and created a few clubs like a Red Cross branch, and have been volunteering in other ways for other mental health organizations. But I was looking for any psychology things I could do, I was currently looking at crisis volunteer lines I could do. But if there is any other please let me know it would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for volunteering or internship opportunities? In California, lots of non-profits need your help! You can explore options that interest you by visiting this resource: https://oag.ca.gov/charities/reports
Don’t forget to check out your local library, community center, and city hall for more ideas. Good luck!

Some volunteer opportunities in crisis centers will have a minimum age requirement of 18, but there are teen crisis lines that are staffed by teen volunteers - they're typically called teen peer crisis lines. Some national examples are: Crisis Text Line, Teen Line, YouthLine, but it might be good to learn a bit more about what kind of volunteer experience you're looking for - meaning are you looking for something you go to long term or something you're looking to do a infrequently or once?
I'm in the Portland OR area and there's a volunteer site called Hands on Portland & there's a branch in your area: https://www.handsoncentralcal.org/ that offers a variety of different volunteer opportunities by topic and commitment length. Also, your local 211 Info should have a database of non-profits that you could reference: https://www.211tularecounty.org/ . The reason why I'm broadening to all non-profits is that a lot of non-profits directly or indirectly help with mental health in some way. To explain further, volunteering at Meals on Wheels as someone who calls to check in on the elderly that normally have no/limited social interactions outside of Meals on Wheels can help you gain experience with talking to people about being alone, grief, loss, and other parts of their lives that they share with you, and you can help to give someone an important social connection that they wouldn't have otherwise.
I think that what would help the most is determining what you like the best: here's my own personal volunteer likes :D
-I like meeting in person
-I like working with adults or the elderly
-I like something that incorporates animals, technology, food, or social services to help people improve their lives
-I like to volunteer at something long term
-I like a volunteer experience that I can do once a week, long term
Look forward to hearing more if you want!
