Hi Lisa!
There are lots of great online resources to brush up on your math skills. My favorite is khanacademy.org. Khan Academy offers tutorials is a wide variety of Math subjects which can help prepare you for your test. They are very accessible and easy to understand.
Good luck in your learning journey!

Based on your question, my best guess is that you would like to prepare for a college math placement test or the Accuplacer test. It would be advantageous for you to place out of developmental math so that you can get right onto college algebra,
My question for you is whether you have taken both Algebra I and Algebra II courses already. If not, the best option is to take both. This will prepare you for the math placement test.
If you are already an advanced math student in high school, take AP College Algebra if it is possible. With a score of 4 and higher in AP College Algebra, you do not have to worry about the math placement test at all.

Thank you for your question. I am glad to see your commitment to improve your maths
Below are my suggestions:
1. After the lesson every day, make sure you do review the material. If you have any questions, ask the teacher on next class day.
2. Find some supplemental exercise. Practise makes perfect.
3. Find some past papers and practise.
4. Assign more time to practise before assessment
5. Form study groups with classmates that can help you to understand the concepts better
Hope this helps! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Hi Lisa,
I am assuming you are talking about a college placement test for freshpeeps.
There are lots of videos on YouTube that you can use to prepare. Here are a few examples:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJhh0KwoE4w&list=PLOfc3qTgze9fakCoU35iNZaGuUiAdbBIb
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3GCausybQQ&list=PLLTDqUnY1XAUmSFYiPU2w6kLiyEKOtra4
https://www.youtube.com/@mathmandan/videos
These videos basically go through practice problems and work towards the solution. If that jogs your memory sufficiently and you understand how it works, move on to the next problem. If you hit a gap in your knowledge, make sure to read up on that particular issue before you continue.
I hope this helps! All the best to you!

Hi, Lisa !
I think that you've left out quite a bit of information, but I think that I can refer you to some helpful websites to study Math for tests. Is it a specific college test when you enter/are admitted to college, or a specific name of an assessment test that you are referring to ? That would be important for advice. I'll assume that it is the test the specific college gives you to see how you are in Math before you enroll.
You can see if there is a Math study group at your school or study online at Math Help, Home School Math, Test Prep Review, and Varsity Tutors. You can also possibly find a practice from the college that you will be attending. Many colleges provide help and practice tests on their website to students who will be going to a particular college.
I hope this helps and I wish you all the best !

Good Day Lisa!
When I was in senior high school, I would go to the library and consult a book volume of Schaum's Outline Series. Now Google is sufficient to find anything on mathematics. The Internet is like a huge library with glorified search engines called artificial intelligence. The best way to become proficient in mathematics is to work through it, practicing problems. Specifically query Google or Bing appropriate for your country, state and grade year. Algebra should be in your search, or for instance binomial theory, calculus, probability, statistics, or wherever your course curriculum includes.
