What are some things I should be doing in my senior year of high school to prepare for college as a biology major or just for college in general?

I'm a Senior in High School in Seattle, Washington and I have a bunch of free time coming up because college apps. are almost done. I'm wondering what to do with that time and what important things I should be doing to prepare for college.

Great to see another Seattle resident here! Think about what you hope to achieve with a biology degree and your plans after college. Look for opportunities that match your goals. Also, don't forget to enjoy your last year of high school! Spend time with friends and create lasting memories.

Biology is a good major for biopharmaceutical and other medical areas. Preparation for college, well, get involved in other areas within the school such as programs after school. Clubs, volunteering, working with the sports teams. Also, during school if you have the time assisting students in classes they may be struggling.
