How can I balance nursing school, family, social life, my relationship, work while keeping my sanity? #Spring26
School is so overwhelming. I start nursing school in the fall and I am worried that I wont be able to pay for school because of how demanding school will be. Juggling everything else on top of that is going to be hard as well. Any and all tips are appreciated!

Remember, you didn’t choose Nursing, Nursing chose you! You have been called to Nursing. See how well this fits you. Get Study Helps, Tips, Guides and see which one fits best. Get ready to make sacrifices of your time, schedule, and energy. Believe in yourself and in your calling. Please know I pray daily for all student nurses that God will give them the gifts and graces to be successful. Blessings…
Think about volunteering as a Candy Striper for a hospital or nursing home to get experience in the field. Research different types of Nursing to see if one resonates with you. Get involved with Good Study Tips groups and research their materials.

Hi Cecily, balancing school, family, and life can be challenging, but you can do it! It's important to set boundaries and prioritize your needs. Make sure you get enough sleep, eat well, exercise, and take care of your mental health. These should come first. I found it helpful to talk to someone when I faced similar struggles in PA school. Therapy made a big difference for me, and while some days are still tough, I've learned to manage stress better with the help of my therapist. Remember, it's okay to ask for help. Your school likely has resources for students, so be sure to use them.
