Is working as a CNA in university manageable and if so what health area is best for a college freshman? # Spring26

Hi , I am a High School senior and will soon be getting a CNA certification. I intend to major in Nursing while at University and hope to be able to use my CNA background to work as well during college for income.

I would recommend working as a CNA in a nursing home while in college. While the work can be physically demanding, the pay is pretty good and you should be able to get good part time hours that fit with your school schedule.
The experience you'll get in a nursing home will help you immensely as you begin your nursing career and it can help you decide what area of healthcare you want to focus on after you become licensed.
