Hi Allen,
It's a bit complicated, the salary you get highly depends on your experience and where the company you work for is located.
In large metro areas like LA or the Bay area, salaries tend to be higher compared to other rural/suburban regions of the state. In my opinion the best way would be to look on job postings sites like indeed or LinkedIn for Electrical Engineering positions, in theory the salary range should be posted.

This requires us to develop our emotional intelligence (EQ) as best as we possibly can.

Electrical engineer salaries in California depend on several factors, including skills, experience, specialization, industry, education level, job market demand, and location. Engineers working in areas such as Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and Los Angeles often earn more than those in smaller towns due to higher demand and cost of living.
Entry-level electrical engineers (0–2 years of experience) can expect to earn between $80,000 and $95,000 per year, according to sources such as Indeed and Salary.com. As you gain more experience, mid-career engineers (3–8 years of experience) typically earn around $120,000–$150,000 annually. For senior engineers with 8–15+ years of experience, especially in top tech regions, earnings can reach $160,000 to over $200,000 per year. This reflects a strong and steady career growth path in electrical engineering.
