Is a Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business still valuable in today's job market, or should I switch fields?

Hi everyone,

I am currently an Intermediate Commerce student evaluating my future academic and career trajectory.

I want to know the current market value and long-term demand for a Commerce degree compared to alternative fields like technology or computer science. If I pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Accounting, or Finance, what are the emerging career prospects?

Alternatively, are traditional commerce paths becoming obsolete without combining them with technical skills? Any advice from industry professionals on whether I should continue with higher studies in business or pivot to another field would be greatly appreciated!
