How am I going to get more experience in the career?
Go research and find internship about this career then choose rather you want to put more work in it.

Hello Jianahao, your question is what is called vague. You are asking for help with something about a career but haven't said what the career is or maybe your question is you don't know what career you want to choose. Based on what I can figure I will answer your question this way. Think about the things you like to do or are interested in and then the things you don't like to do or don't have an interest in. Would you try to have a career doing what you like or don't like? I imagine you would answer work in what you like. Pay attention to what you like, are good at, causes you to be happy, and other people benefit from your help. These are clear signs of who you are as a person and will serve to guide you in your decision making. Best of luck to you!!

If you're considering getting into the trades, there are many that offer apprenticeships that not only train you but also pays a starting wage in that field.
Many careers out there that make civil living comfortable are hitting a pretty massive age wall (New York State's average age for a plumber is 50 years+!) But if that isn't your idea for a career, please be a little more detailed with your questions!
It's always okay to ask questions.

Rather than an internship, a job shadow would be more ideal. This is where you follow a professional around at their workplace for about 1-2 hours. That way, you can observe what they do on daily basis and determine if you can see yourself doing the same thing in the future. Not sure which field you are interested in, but I recommend doing multiple job shadows in your local area to observe and learn about different careers.

I would probably think about what you want to do. If you narrow down the search then you can be successful in what you choose to do. You dont have to pick a career but if you like to work with your hands maybe welding or an electrician and you like cars maybe automotive. Or maybe you like helping people and want to go into medical. It is very broad for you to ask about how you can get more experience in a career when you dont state what type of career you are looking for. Once you find something that you are interested in then you can start to focus on a more direct route. Maybe you can get into a program in school that will help you start the career path sooner. You may be able to job shadow and see what a typical day is like for someone in that field.

It would be great if you can let us know what career you are working towards. Fir this, narrow down your areas of interest:
1. What are you fields of interests? I would go back to a year or two and think about what still interests you. Whatever you choose for your college, you will be stuck studying that subject for a couple years - so I would pick something that you are genuinely interested in
2. Do you envision a future in that field - Take a reality check. Do you see yourself getting a job in your field of interest and supporting yourself and your family with that income?
3. Familiarize yourself with the career - Find someone who is already working on your ideal career path and talk to them about their experience and how they go there.
4. Look for opportunities - Are there any open calls for internship or entry level jobs for you to get some exposure

Internships are a great way to start your professional career. Being intentional is key to finding your place in the corporate world. This is also a great way to get a different perspective, and learn a variety of skills while seeking for the perfect fit.

Consider using contract companies, as they have been a good way for me to explore and help determine jobs/careers that interest me. Look for opportunities that can help you get hands on experience and build skills (for any opportunity). Don't be afraid to try different jobs and ask questions - they can give you an idea of what you would like to do or not do. It's ok to try something - if you don't succeed at it, learn from it and try something else. Look at networking events as these can allow you to meet people in the career field you are interested in and possibly help you with next steps or better yet help with finding a job - you never know!!
