How to get an internship with no relevant work experience?
I am an economics major and I have been looking for internships for a while now, but since I don't have any relevant experience it has been hard for me to get any offers.

You can try this using Linked-In, which is a great way to find internships and jobs! If you live in an area with lots of businesses and offices, I suggest you figure out if they have internships available. Network and meet new people! You never know who's willing to take a chance on you and hire you as an intern! Sometimes, you don't need to get an internship in the your area of study, but it's preferred. You can also try the Disney College Program! Although you'll be working in the parks, there's exclusive housing for all interns and they provide great educational opportunities. Plus, you'll get paid and go to the parks for free if that's something that interests you. Sometimes the classes they give can be eligible for credit at your school if it applies! Hope this helps.

Taster days/Insight weeks are perfect introductions to firms. Apply for these (particularly if your at the start of your college career) as they can pad out your CV and get your foot in the door for a summer internship role.
Make sure you have a perfectly structured CV (1-2 pages). Even with no corporate experience you can still fill up your CV to make you look desirable for intern roles.
Don't be discouraged if you don't have corporate experience. No one does starting off. Just show that you are a proactive student and you can secure a summer internship!
