david’s Answer

The most important thing you can do is to stop contemplating what you wish to accomplish, but to start doing it. It is that initial step that gets you moving. For programming, identify any language and begin. It won't be the one you end up preferring, but the forward movement will energize you to pursue more skills and other opportunities. Some people attempt to devise a lengthy plan to pursue their career, yet never start. Just do it. I cannot say it more strongly. Just start. There is no 'best' - there is doing something that moves you forward from where you are now. I wish you well.
Thank you comment icon I agree with this. Once you get moving, your technical skills will grow faster than you realize. Benjamin Hirai

Hello Samuel,
Fantastic query! When embarking on the journey of acquiring a new skill, it's beneficial to establish a clear goal, devise a strategy, and exercise patience with yourself. Your eagerness to learn something new is truly admirable! Consistency is key, as is maintaining an open mind to the fresh knowledge you're absorbing and welcoming any hurdles that come your way. If you encounter difficulties, don't hesitate to pause, but bear in mind that you're fully capable of achieving your goal - be a true pioneer in your pursuit!

Persist on your chosen path, treat yourself occasionally, and you'll undoubtedly reach your objective.

Great Question! Programming covers so many areas. Look around on YouTube, LinkedIn and other services that offer free classes. Take as many classes as you can. Go to the library check out books on different programming languages. HalfPrice Books often have several programming books on hand.
Practice, Practice, Practice.
Think about how to use what you are learning in different ways. How can you apply it now? How can you apply the knowledge in future. Think of a way to use your knowledge in a way no one has ever thought of!

You got this!

Rebecca’s Answer

Thank you for your question. I am glad to hear that you have interest in programming.
Below are my suggestions:
1. Find a simple programming language to start first, eg Python, Scratch, etc.
2. Find out the syntax and structure of the language. There are plenty of resources online.
3. You can start doing some simple programming. Then, you can do some simple projects, eg. Control a toy car or robotic
arm, etc Practise makes perfect!
4. After you familiar one language, you can learn another one.
If you would like to develop your career in programming, I strongly recommend you to take the computer science course in the college. It will give you an overview of computing theories and programming techniques.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!
May Almighty God bless you!
